ABOUT

I'm José — a backend engineer in Veracruz, Mexico. Django most days: data models, deployments, and keeping small-business systems alive on servers I can SSH into.

Physics came first. My thesis worked out the inverse kinematics for a four-legged robot, and I've never fully recovered — I still think in joints, linkages, and things that should move but don't yet.

Outside of that: videogames, tattoos, and a stubborn habit of repairing my own things instead of replacing them. I started skating last month and I am comprehensively bad at it. Movie taste runs sci-fi and anything that ends badly on purpose.

This site runs on my own VPS because it should. No analytics, no newsletter popup, no cookie banner.
